New Air Conditioning System Installation
If you need a new air conditioner, Nicor Home Services technicians will recommend an appropriately sized unit, install the system that you choose and suggest ways to lower energy bills. For example, programmable thermostats can be set to cycle down an HVAC system for times when less heating or cooling is needed. All Carrier air conditioners meet or exceed the Department of Energy’s recommended Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratios (SEER). Carrier products also meet the stringent energy efficiency ratings required by the Environmental Protection Agency’s Energy Star program. Even a well-maintained unit occasionally requires ac repair. You can schedule routine ac repairs by using the on-line form or calling for an appointment.

Annual maintenance checks include cleaning or replacing filters, adding refrigerants to proper levels, leveling thermostats and inspecting condensers, blowers and lubricants.
